    Welcome to NC SWANA

    NCDEQ Training Webinar

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (Department) has procured an environmental data management system to streamline the submittal, organization, and presentation of environmental data collected across the state. The Department has adopted a standardized Electronic Data Deliverable (EDD) format and the Division of Waste Management’s Solid Waste Section is requiring that all solid waste facilities begin submitting environmental data using the new EDD format on or before July 1, 2021.  To assist facilities in gravitating to this new reporting condition, the Section will be holding two training webinars on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Persons interested in attending either the morning (10:00 am) or afternoon (1:00 pm) webinar, please complete the below registration form.

Solid Waste EDD Webinar Registration Form

The information to be covered in both webinars will be the same.  The webinar registration form is also located on the Solid Waste Section’s Environmental Monitoring Webpage, along with the new EDD, submission procedures, and guidance documents. Registration will end on Thursday, February 4, 2021 and an email with a link to the event will be sent on Friday, February 5, 2021.
